Raising children in today's culture is difficult.  At Lake Houston, we provide lots of opportunities for spiritual growth for parents and their children.

Bible Classes - Every Sunday morning and Wednesday night, we offer classes to all ages to help learn specific Bible lessons and have fun with their peers.

Service Projects - Once a month, our families work together on service projects to spend time focused on the needs of others.

Camp Bandina -  We join with other area congregations each summer in the hill country of West Texas to spend a week focused on spiritual growth and fellowship.

Middle School Retreats - In the fall, we have a middle school retreat for the youth to get together and build strong relationships and get into God's word.

Visitation Ministry

KidSing - Every Sunday  night, we start off our evening worship service by spending the first ten minutes helping the kids learn basic Bible knowledge through interactive quizzing and singing.

Monthly Devotional - Once a month, our middle school and high school students gather for a devotional time in the home of one of our members. They share a meal together, sing songs of praise, and hear a short devotional message from one of the young men.

High School Retreats - We have a youth retreat each spring and fall that gives high school students an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and deepen their friendships.
